Driving while texting violation may soon become law

by Administrator 9. November 2009 06:29

The Rhode Island legislature may soon pass a law that would ban texting while driving. Following the lead of many other cities and states, Rhode Island lawmakers believe that the ban will lead to a decrease in traffic accidents.

For drivers who would be charged with texting while driving, they would likely face penalties similar to other traffic violations. These penalties would include fines and possible license suspensions.

If you or anyone you know is trying to get a crime off your record, contact the Rhode Island expungement lawyer James Powderly at 401-662-9006.
