Expunging a Felony

by Administrator 22. May 2009 06:31

Expungement can be a very helpful lawsuit to file. When your criminal record is left open to the public, it can have some detrimental effects on your life and work. Often, having a criminal record can keep a person from getting certain jobs.

If you are trying to expunge a felony, there is a process that must be followed. First, you must wait 10 years after the completion of your sentence before you can file. After that time, you can request that your record be sealed.

For more information on expungement, contact the Rhode Island expungement attorney, James Powderly at 401-662-9006.
